Er weist langjährige Erfahrung im Kapitalmarktrecht auf. Vor Bitpanda war er fünf Jahre in der österr. Finanzmarkaufsicht im Wertpapierbereich tätig und ua auch Mitglied des FintechBeirats im Bundesministerium für Finanzen. Zusätzlich ist Dr. Steiner Autor mehrerer Publikationen und Vortragender.

Dr Christian Steiner, MBA, is Managing Director of Bitpanda Financial Services GmbH, Director of Regulatory Compliance at Bitpanda – Home of Digital Assets, and Compliance Officer of Bitpanda GmbH. He has extensive expertise in financial markets regulation, capital
markets law and crypto regulation. Before joining Bitpanda, he spent five years at the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA), working in the securities supervision division. He also served as a member of the FinTech Advisory Board of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Finance. Dr Steiner is the author of numerous publications on financial market law and crypto regulation and is a regular speaker at conferences and professional events.
