Dr Jiri Strasky is the technical director of Strasky, Husty and Partners Ltd., an engineering consultancy in Brno, Czech Republic, which specialises in bridge engineering and which has been engaged in projects in Japan, the UK and US. Visiting professor at the Technical University of Brno, Dr Strasky has won numerous international awards for his designs and technical papers.
