Cable Vibration Mitigation Technology in Cable-stayed Bridges provides an overview of research and engineering practice on stay cable vibration control. It provides a systematic introduction to stay cable vibration issues, commonly used mitigation measures, vibration control system design theories, related technologies, and the latest trends in the field. It includes detailed case studies of the initial vibration mitigation design for various bridges and the subsequent upgrades to their vibration control systems; the book provides a comprehensive overview of the stay cable vibration control design process, device selection and testing, vibration mitigation performance evaluation, and the emerging challenges and solutions for ultra-long stay cables in long-span cable-stayed bridges
