Woodford, of All Our Yesterdays: A Brief History of Detroit (Wayne State University Press, 1969), and the author of Detroit and Its Banks (Wayne State University Press, 1974), Detroit: American Urban Renaissance (Contental Heritage Press, 1979), and Charting the Inland Seas: A History of the U.S. Lake Survey (Wayne State University Press, 1994).
