The book introduces new concepts, such as light topography, and addresses current research, where complex real spaces are viewed in relation to the context with surrounding contrasts.

Illustrated with over 150 beautiful, full colour drawings from the author, this book provides an increased understanding of light and space.

Über Autor(innen)

Ulrika Wänström Lindh is a Senior Lecturer in Resource Recovery and the Built Environment at the University of Borås, Sweden. She teaches about the spatial experience at a bachelor's program in Lighting Design. Ulrika’s research focuses on spatial experience and distribution of light in interior and exterior spaces. Of special concern are questions about perceived depth, size, shape, enclosure, and the experienced atmosphere of illuminated spaces.
