Wainwright, Tom
Tom Wainwright, a barrister at Garden Court Chambers, has extensive experience in defending protestors in criminal proceedings. He has appeared on behalf of activists from organisations including Occupy and Extinction Rebellion, as well as individuals demonstrating against fracking, racism, capitalism and tuition fees to name but a few. Tom has appeared in most of the high-profile protest cases of recent years and is regularly instructed in cases of significant complexity and legal importance.

Morris, Anna
Anna Morris, a barrister at Garden Court Chambers and Garden Court North, specialises in civil liberties, human rights and private and public law claims involving public authorities. Her practice includes inquests, civil actions against the police, judicial review and international public law. Anna acts for bereaved families and claimants in private and public law proceedings. Anna has a particular expertise in the law relating to policing protests, public order and deaths in custody.

Parker, Lochlinn
Lochlinn Parker is Partner and Head of Civil Liberties at ITN solicitors. He has extensive expertise in taking legal action against the police, and acting for bereaved families in death in custody inquests. In respect of protest he works with organisations and individuals who are seeking accountability and compensation for wrongdoing, or who want to challenge policing decisions. Greenhall, Owen
Owen Greenhall, a barrister at Garden Court Chambers, has a practice covering all aspects of criminal and civil law relating to protest and freedom of expression.
