Über Autor(innen)

Harold Watkinson (1910–1995) was appointed a Privy Counsellor in 1995. An MP from 1950–1964 he was appointed Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Labour and Naitonal Service in 1952; Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation in 1955; and Minister of Defence in 1959. An engineer by profession, he was Group Managing Director of Schweppes Limited unitl 1969 hwen he became Executive Chairmna of Cadbury Schweppes Ltd until 1974. He was also Deputy Chairman of the Midland Bank Ltd and Chairman of Cuncil of the British Institute of Management and President of Ashridge Management College.
