Wei, Gang
Gang Wei is currently a Professor at the School of Polymer Science and Engineering, Qingdao University of Science and Technology, China. From 2007 to 2011, he worked as an Alexander von Humboldt Fellow at the Friedrich Schiller University of Jena, Germany, and from 2012 to 2019, he served as a Senior Researcher and Group Leader at the University of Bremen, Germany. From October 2019 to May 2025, he worked as a Professor at Qingdao University, China. His research interests include polymer nanomaterials, supramolecular nanomaterials, hydrogels, two-dimensional materials, biomaterials, supramolecular self-assembly, and biomedicine. He has extensive experience in scientific publishing and has edited books with publishers including Springer and Elsevier, in addition to contributing chapters to several other books.
