HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for WebKit

This book focuses on the skills necessary to port websites to the iPhone, improving the user interface to take advantage of the Safari for iPhone web browser.

Unlike all the other iPhone books currently on the market, this book will not focus on XCode, Dashcode and native application interactivity.

Rather, this first of its kind iPhone book will focus on cutting edge JS, CSS and HTML - which are standard browser technologies - adding native CSS, CSS animations, optimized javascript, and iPhone specific event handling. While some of the CSS3 and CSS animations are only possible due to the power of the Safari mobile browsers, and to the nature of touch and tilt, it is expected that many of these features will soon work on desktop browsers.
