Couper, Gordon
Gordon Couper stammt aus Schottland und ist als Übersetzer für die englische Sprache tätig. Der studierte Geisteswissenschaftler lebt und arbeitet seit 2005 als freiberuflicher Sprachexperte in Remscheid. Als Fachübersetzer widmet er sich vor allem literarischen, historischen und theologischen Texten, in denen er wissenschaftliche Genauigkeit mit einem feinen Gespür für Ton, Rhythmus und erzählerische Stimme verbindet. Darüber hinaus arbeitet er als Englischlehrer und Lektor.

Gordon Couper is a Scottish-born translator and native English speaker living in Remscheid, Germany. Trained in the humanities, he has worked as a freelance language professional since 2005. As a specialist translator, he focuses on literary, historical, and theological texts, combining scholarly precision with a refined ear for tone, rhythm, and narrative voice. In addition to his translation work, he is also active as an English language teacher and editor.

Die in Leipzig lebende Autorin Heike Wolff schreibt an der Schnittstelle zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart. Während ihre Romane die Leser in ferne Welten und vergessene Epochen entführen, beschäftigen sich ihre kürzeren Werke mit der Unmittelbarkeit des zeitgenössischen Lebens. Seit den 1990er Jahren ist sie in der Leipziger Literaturszene aktiv und kuratiert seit 2017 die Offene Lesebühne in Delitzsch.
Ihre regelmäßigen Reisen nach Griechenland haben eine bleibende Faszination für Kreta und die minoische Kultur geweckt, die in ihrem Roman "Der Untergang von Phaistos" lebendig wird.

Leipzig-based author Heike Wolff writes at the intersection of past and present. Active on Leipzig’s literary stages since the 1990s, she has also curated the Open Reading Stage in Delitzsch since 2017.
