Y Alanis, Alma
Alma Y. Alanis received a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the Advanced Studies and Research Center of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV-IPN), Guadalajara Campus, Mexico, in 2007. Since 2008, she has been with the University of Guadalajara, where she is currently a Chair Professor in the Department of Computer Science. She is also a member of the Mexican National Research System (SNI-3) and the Mexican Academy of Sciences. She has published papers in recognized international journals and conferences, as well as eight international books. She is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Subject Editor for the Journal of Franklin Institute (Elsevier), IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics, IEEE Access, IEEE Latin American Transactions, and Intelligent Automation & Soft Computing. In 2013, she received the grant for women in science by L'Oreal-UNESCO-AMC-CONACYT-CONALMEX. In 2015, she received the Marcos Moshinsky Research Award. Since 2008, she has been a member of the Accredited Assessors record RCEA-CONACYT, evaluating a wide range of national research projects, and has served on important national and international project evaluation committees. Her research interests center on neural control, backstepping control, block control, and their applications to electrical machines, power systems, and robotics.

Sanchez, Oscar D.
Oscar D. Sanchez is a computer engineer holding degrees from the University of Guadalajara. He earned his B.Sc. in 2011, M.Sc. in 2013, and Ph.D. in 2018. Since 2015, he has been a member of the Computer Department at the University Centre for Exact Sciences and Engineering. His research focuses on system modeling and identification, bioinformatics, optimization, and intelligent systems for prediction. Noteworthy contributions include projects related to sensor failure detection for engine prevention and maintenance, as well as the application of deep neural networks for disease detection, particularly in diabetes mellitus. Currently affiliated with the University of Guadalajara, he is actively involved in diverse research projects, primarily centered around health and motors.

Magaña, Rosa del Sagrario Garcia
Rosa Garcia holds a master's degree in Business and Economic Studies from the University of Guadalajara in Mexico, backed by 15 years of experience in research, sectoral studies, and business intelligence. In her role as a consultant, she has partnered with diverse companies spanning the medical device, services, and commerce sectors, catering to a clientele that includes business organizations, companies, entrepreneurs, and government entities. Contributing as both an author and co-author to five books and serving as a research assistant for two more, Rosa's expertise extends to methodologies for business incubation and the Technology Project Evaluation Methodology of the Medical Device Innovation Centre.

Currently, she collaborates with the Technological Observatory of Jalisco, focusing on technological vigilance and business intelligence activities. Rosa provides consulting, training, and monitoring services to the medical devices sector, working with clients such as the Biomedical Engineering Cluster of Jalisco and the Mexican Pharmaceutical Association. Additionally, she is an integral part of the IDITpyme and Hospital Pyme consulting network.
