Weitere Infos & Material

David L. Andrews leads research on fundamentalmolecular photonics and energy transport, optomechanical forces andnonlinear optical phenomena. He has over 160 research papers andalso eight books to his name - including the widely adoptedtextbook Lasers in Chemistry. The current focus of his researchgroup is on novel mechanisms for optical nanomanipulation andswitching, and light-harvesting in nanostructured molecularsystems. The group enjoys strong international links, particularlywith groups in Canada, Lithuania, New Zealand and the UnitedStates. Andrews is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, anda Fellow of the Institute of Physics, and he is the inaugural Chairof the SPIE Nanotechnology Technical Group.
