Über Autor(innen)

Alain April, PhD, is Professor of Software Engineering atUniversité du Québec (Canada). His research interestsinclude software maintenance, software quality assurance, andmultimedia databases. Dr. April has worked in thetelecommunications industry for more than twenty years, hascontributed to the internal measurement of software of ISO 9126-3,and is an Editor of The Guide to Software Engineering Body ofKnowledge (SWEBOK) chapters on software maintenance andsoftware quality.
Alain Abran, PhD, is Professor and the Director of theSoftware Engineering Research Laboratory at Université duQuébec (Canada). Dr. Abran is the Co-Executive Editor of theSWEBOK project. He has been actively involved in softwareengineering standardization as the International Secretary forISO/IEC JTC SC7 Software and System Engineering and as co-managerfor the Common Software Measurement International Consortium(COSMIC). Dr. Abran's research interests include softwareproductivity and estimation models, software engineeringfoundations, software quality, software functional sizemeasurement, software risk management, and software maintenancemanagement.
