Über Autor(innen)

Mirko Benesch is Managing Partner of BENESCH Rechtsanwaltspartnerschaft mbB and has been advising companies in Germany and abroad in all areas of gambling, betting and lottery law for over 20 years. He is an experienced Mergers & Acquisitions (company purchase and sale) advisor and has accompanied a large number of successful transactions, especially in the gambling sector. In the meantime, Mr. Benesch has become one of the best known and most renowned lawyers in gambling & sports betting law in Germany. He represents and advises commercial clients of various sizes, including Dax groups, as well as internationally operating gambling and sports betting companies based abroad.
Mr. Benesch is also managing director of the Glücksspiel Akademie, which conducts prevention training and develops social concepts, as well as managing director of Benesch Consulting GmbH, which advises and supports gambling and sports betting companies in the areas of data protection and money laundering.

Marcus Röll is a specialist in administrative law and a partner in the BENESCH Lawyer partnership. He advises and represents a large number of companies and public authorities throughout Germany in matters of public law. A particular focus of his work is gambling law. In this area he is also active as a lecturer and author of various specialist publications.
In addition, Mr. Röll is also requested by various Chambers of Trade and Industry as an expert for legal opinions regarding issues with gambling law in legislative procedures as well as in the preparation of examination and training documents.
