Dr. Khaled Benis is an accomplished Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering in the Department of Process Engineering and Applied Science at Dalhousie University. As the Director of the Circular Process Engineering Lab, Dr. Benis leads research in waste management, resource recovery, and environmental sustainability. His work focuses on developing circular economy frameworks that integrate advanced chemical engineering solutions to tackle global challenges in waste emissions and environmental degradation.
 
Dr. Sonil Nanda is an Assistant Professor and Canada Research Chair in the Department of Engineering, Faculty of Agriculture at Dalhousie University, Canada. Formerly, he was the Director of Research and Development at Titan Clean Energy Projects Corporation in Craik, Saskatchewan. He received his Ph.D. degree in Biology from York University, Canada; his MSc degree in Applied Microbiology from Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT University), India; and his BSc degree in Microbiology from Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology, India.
