Pam Estes Brewer, PhD, is an Associate Professor inthe Department of Technical Communication at Mercer University inMacon, Georgia. She is on the editorial board for the IEEETransactions on Professional Communication and TechnicalCommunication, and is a Senior Member and Associate Fellow ofthe Society for Technical Communication (STC) as well as a memberof the IEEE Professional Communication Society. Dr. Brewer is the2014 recipient of STC's Jay R. Gould Award for Excellence inTeaching and the President's Award for Service.
