In that sense, it has not delivered on its promise to diversify the small island economies in the region. This book aims to map how Caribbean creative activity connects and traverses the prickly domains of cultural policy, cultural institutions, cultural entrepreneurship and artistic practice to open new vistas of understanding cultural production and to provide a more nuanced reading of the cultural life of the Caribbean.
