Based on an analysis of world events, Clark presents militant nationalism as a pathological pattern of thinking that threatens our security and calls on societies to understand the critical frameworks for human protection provided by effective democracy and international law. The ultimate aim of The ABCs of Human Survival is to call attention to the interdependence of world affairs and personal well-being.
