The Connection

“In the beginning was the word and the word was with God, and the word was God” (John 1:1). Rather you believe the bible is the undeniable truth of God or an historical document, the undisputed fact is that the bible has inspired, motivated and educated people from all aspects of life for thousands of years. Not only has the bible withstood the test of time but it is also the most published book in the world. It has shaped the cultures of history’s greatest civilizations and has survived the destruction of some of the world’s most powerful empires. It is my belief that the bible is the divine, inspirational and undeniable word of God. The purpose of this book is to give thought provoking knowledge to those who wish to understand one of the most talked about supernatural principles of the bible. Supernatural principles are very powerful systems that are unstoppable forces and unmovable objects once activated. Natural forces such as words, wisdom and truth were placed in this world by God to connect with supernatural forces such as love, faith and patience to fuel the unbridled and powerful supernatural principles. Taking possession of a supernatural principle is like taking possession of a locomotive where your freewill activates God’s immense power. A supernatural principle is a promise that God has declared to all who are willing to listen, learn, and follow. A sower went out to sow some seeds and he reaped a harvest that was extraordinary and exquisite. Could that sower be you? The sowing and reaping principle is more than a state of mind. It is the revolution of the mind!

“Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable. So was fulfilled what was spoken through the prophet: I will open my mouth in parables, I will utter things hidden since the creation of the world” (Matthew 13: 34-35). You are at War! A soldier in an eternal struggle between good and evil, caught between heaven and hell. There is a battlefield raging in the caverns of your mind between supernatural forces. The mind is a terrible thing to waste and yet there are ungodly forces trying to lay waste to your mind. How can you withstand such ruthless and merciless adversaries that are bent on the utter destruction of your mind? A mind that stays on the Lord stays in perfect peace and harmony. You are not alone in your battle as the Lord has promise you weapons of mass destruction to fight off the adversary. Everything that you do and think is of great importance because what you do in life will echo through eternity, forever unchanged but changing and shaping the future. “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me. Since you priests refuse to know me, I refuse to recognize you as my priests. Since you have forgotten the laws of your God, I will forget to bless your children” (Hosea 4:6). There are many concepts that exist within nature that can be used to better understand Supernatural principles. Supernatural principles have the ability to maximize your opportunity for success and minimize your opportunity for failure. The act of farming is a concept in nature that Jesus used to help us understand Supernatural principles. Examples of Supernatural principles are all around us and even within us. When we know where to look, the most common things can be used to understand the most extraordinary things.

“His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness” (Matthew 25: 21). Most things in life are made up of a few big things and many little things. More often than not it is the little things that will go unnoticed because the little things are just like nails. A nail is invisible in the framework of a building but a nail is important because it is the nail that connects the larger structures together. It takes a lot of effort to see the nails in a building because they are tucked away inside the building carrying out the most important task of providing connections. The one thing every building has regardless to the size, shape or structure is nails. Most people do not realize it, but it is possible for a strategically placed nail to cause a building to collapse. Just like the nail the smallest details are the key to connecting large supernatural principles together. We should love the small things because in the small things we will find the secret to make our Dreams blossom and our Relationships to grow. In the bible most things are the opposite of what they seem because the bible is based upon the spiritual world and not the natural world. “For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it” (Mark 8:35). In order to go up spiritually we must go down on our needs to pray and when we want to see beyond our situation we must look within ourselves. The bible will always send us in the opposite direction to find the right direction.

God hid the mysteries of the universe inside of the smallest things because he knew only the righteous would search inside of the smallest things to find the greatest of things. When we look at a supernatural principle such as sowing and reaping we must look for the smallest of details in order to understand the greatest of concepts. As others run to the greatest of concepts we must resist the temptation of the obvious and take our place amongst the smallest of details. God’s mind works totally different from man’s mind and he hides things from those who are not ready. “The disciples came to him and asked, “Why do you speak to the people in parables? He replied, “The knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them” (Matthew 13: 10–11). It is the smallest of details that are hidden inside of supernatural principles that decide who wins and who losses. Within the concept of farming we find the principle of sowing and reaping which states we have to give up something in order to receive something. When we farm we give up our time and resources and for our time and resources we receive fruits, vegetables and flowers. If we are willing to reap the harvest then we must also be willing to sow the seed. The sowing and reaping principle is an enormous principle but there is a tiny detail hidden in the sowing and reaping principle with extraordinary power. Now watch this very carefully or you could miss it! The tiny detail that is the key to the entire supernatural principle of sowing and reaping is desire. The desire to sow must be greater than the desire to reap. Desire is a very small thing that can’t be seen but it has the power to unleash explosive and exciting changes in your life. I am sure you are excited by now but discovering principles are meaningless unless we are able to connect the principles to our Dreams and Relationships.

After we have found the little things that make it possible for the large concepts to work together, we must learn how to use them correctly. There is nothing more dangerous than a tool in the hands of someone who does not know what they are doing. If details are the nails, then knowledge is the hammer and the walls are the supernatural principles that the nails connect together. A connection can only occur when we practice a principle many times learning how it works and how it doesn’t work. Now let’s imagine how we would use a nail and hammer to make a connection between two walls. We would strike the nail repeatedly with the hammer until the nail is driven completely into the walls. Because the nail is the details, the knowledge is the hammer and the walls are the principles, we now realize that we must use our knowledge repeatedly to apply details to different principles until a connection has been made. One of the things that the principle of math teaches us is that practice makes perfect. As we practice we will come to the discovery that doing is more challenging than knowing. When we think about a principle in our mind there is no one to challenge our knowledge of the principle. However we do not live in our mind therefore when we practice a principle in the real world we can expect to be challenged. Every opportunity will attract opposition that will challenge our faith and make it difficult for us to master supernatural principles. We must continue to practice and not get discouraged because the race is not given to the swift, or the strong but to the one that endures until the end. By continuing to practice supernatural principles we will increase our faith and wisdom. As we grow spiritually we will come to rely on supernatural principles to make our Dreams blossom and our Relationships to grow.

After making several connections we will notice that the little nails have helped us to build something special where there are connections between supernatural principles that would not exist if it were not for the little nails. In the world of construction there are master builders. A master builder is someone who can imagine an extraordinary thing and then build it. In the natural world we rely on architects, engineers and general contractors to help us build the homes of our Dreams. In the supernatural we become master builders when we are able to teach someone else what we have learned. As we help others to learn, we will discover new things that we never would have imagined, if we were not helping others to learn. In fact teaching is one of the best ways to learn because it allows us to control the lesson. “He also told them this parable: “Can a blind man lead a blind man? Will they not both fall into a pit” (Luke 6:39)?...
