STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) is one of the most discussed topics not only for the governments worldwide. Often the 'T' and the 'E' play a subordinate role. But the growing importance of technology and engineering in all areas of our lives makes it necessary to focus on this.
The first book 'Technology Education Today - International Perspectives' of the CETE Series wants to make a contribution to the field of Technology and Engineering Education. It provides the current state of international Technology Education in selected countries.
The book should offer an excellent overview and first in-depth insights into the different approaches, structures and challenges in the implementation of Technology and Engineering Education in Australia, Canada, Germany, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Switzerland, Ukraine, the United Kingdom and the United States of America.

The Center of Excellence for Technology Education-Network (CETE) is an international research association founded in 2015. Academic partners of the network are the University of Duisburg-Essen, the University of Luxembourg, the Delft University of Technology, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland, the University of Missouri as well as the University of Cambridge.
