This two-volume book covers the multimodality approach to various breast pathologies with special emphasis on the role of imaging in the diagnostic and management algorithm. The book provides a stepwise clinico-radiological approach while highlighting the crucial role of imaging at each step of patient evaluation. It has been divided into two volumes. The first volume focuses on a basic overview of clinico-radiological concerns in the field of breast imaging and the second volume provides a precise disease-based approach in various clinical scenarios.

This volume describes epidemiology of breast diseases; indications and utility of various imaging modalities, breast interventions; pathological, surgical and medical aspects of breast carcinoma in diagnostic population. It includes dedicated chapters on advances in breast imaging modalities like contrast enhanced mammography and the update on artificial intelligence in the present era. Pathological assessment is an integral component for evaluation of breast diseases, and it is important to understand the role and impact of rad-path correlation in the treatment protocol of the patients. Über Autor(innen)

Dr. Ekta Dhamija (MD, radiodiagnosis) has been a faculty at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi since 2015. She has been working in the field of onco-radiology for eight years and has more than 80 publications in indexed journals. She has also been awarded with IJRI Editor's Reviewer award 2023. She is Editor-in-Chief of Indian Journal of Breast Imaging (2024-2027) and Associate Editor of Indian Journal of Radiology and Imaging (IJRI). She has delivered numerous lectures and presented her work on national and international platforms. 

Dr SVS Deo (MS surgery, FACS, FAIS) is a professor and head of the department of surgical oncology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. He has more than 200 peer-reviewed national and international publications. His main area of interest is breast cancer. Dr Deo has delivered numerous lectures in various national and international conferences. He is the current president of the Indian Society of Peritoneal surface malignancies (ISPSM) and president-elect of the Association of Breast Surgeons of India (ABSI).
