This book is about the theory and processes that inform daily practice with young children in early childhood education and care settings. Noirin Hayes PhD, Professor Emeritus, Dublin Insititute of Technology, Ireland, is a developmental psychologist and Director of the Centre for Social and Educational Research (CSER). She is the author of a number of reports, articles and books o practice and policy in early childhood care and education.
