Chapter 6
"Infamous is out of jail." Pat cursed. He did not expect Infamous to ever get out. Not so soon, anyway. He had just received a call from Dre. "How the duck did he manage that?" Pat asked. This was not good. He thought for sure that Infamous would not see the light of day for a long time. Now here Dre was telling him that Infamous was out. He knew that by now Infamous would know that he had ratted him out. He knew his days were numbered before Infamous would come looking for him. He knew it wouldn't be now. He had just returned home. After Pat hung up the phone with Dre, he dialed another number. "I got another job for you," he stated.   .........   Infamous sat in front of the computer in the home office that Diva had refurnished while he was away. The semi-large desk was cherry wood. He studied the computer screen. They were in the red again. A lot in the red. He had sold his truck. But that only paid the lawyer's retainer fee. Then he had to pay for the lawyer to work his case. His bail had been 1M. "Daddy, I need some attention." Diva entered the room with a pretty little smile on her face. She came and sat in his lap. "You know I'm busy trying to get this money back, right?!" Diva pouted. "I don't care about no money. Kitty needs to be petted," she whined. Infamous couldn't help but chuckle. Diva wrapped her arms around his neck. They shared a deep kiss. She moved her body around on his lap until she felt the response in his pants. "Damn, girl!" Infamous stood up, holding Diva. He placed Diva on the desk. Lifting her skirt up, he discovered that she wore no panties underneath the skirt. He rubbed his finger between the juicy lips between her thighs. She was already wet and ready for him. He stuck first one then two fingers inside her. "Mmmmm, daddy," she moaned, rotating her hips and riding his finger. Infamous pulled the zipper down on the jeans he had on and pulled out his manhood. He was hard and ready. Roughly he pushed inside of her. "Ahhhh, shit!!!" she hissed and dug her fingernails into his back. "You like it like that, don't you?" he asked, pumping in and out of her. "Ohh, God, yes!! C-c-c-come on!" she breathed heavily, pushing back at him. "How do you like that??" I asked, pounding in and out of her like I was possessed. "GIVE THAT DICK TO ME!!!" she yelled. Before you knew, we had threw everything off the desk except the computer and went at it like wild animals. "Ooooo, shit, I-I-I'M CUUUMMMIIINNG!!" Diva was yelling loud like a banshee. I covered her mouth so she wouldn't wake the baby down the hall. We both exploded at the same time. I watched as she bucked and wiggled and squirmed. She looked as if she had a demon coming out of her. "Oohh, shit!" This girl was a fool when she came. I loved it. Weakly, she pushed off the desk and almost fell to the floor. I had to catch her. "Damn! You see what happens when you go too long without banging this pussy?" She smiled at me. Slapping her on the ass, I left to go wash up.   .........   "This shit is really crazy!" I said angrily. I was looking at all this was taking out of me and Diva. We were just getting established. We were on a whole new level. Now we were on the verge of going broke. These lawyer fees were killing us. Every time you turned around, he was filing some type of motion that was costing us a grip. The cost of staying free was killing us. I hated being strapped for cash. Whenever I started getting low on money, my mind and thoughts started getting crazy. Now here I was owing more than I could pay, and I wasn't feeling that shit. I had to come up with something. I might have to get back out in them streets. I picked up the phone. I had a few calls I needed to make. "What's up, big homie!" I said into the phone when I heard Tim pick up the phone on the other end of the line. "I'm doing dirty right now." "We all could use a little help," Tim said into the phone. "I need more than a little," I said, trying to get to the point of my call. "What's up, 'I'?" Tim asked. "I'm not seeking no handouts. I need a lick or two so I can get where I need to be," I answered. I heard Tim moving around on the phone. It sounded like he was out in public somewhere. "You need a lick?!" he responded. I could hear the doubt in Tim's voice. "I thought you were through with the game?" "I was! That was before I caught this case and got hit with all these lawyer fees and bail." I sighed. I hate asking anybody for anything. I was a self-made nigga who could go get it at all cost. But I had backed away from the game and lost a lot of my connects. Right now, I needed to hit something to get me back right. I came from the mud, and it looked like I was about to return. Thinking about it made me remember a 2Pac song... "It's either life for me I want to change / But ain't no future life for me / I'm stuck in the game." "What you trying to do, Infamous?" "I'm trying to make a quick sting to get my money back right." It was silence on the other end of the phone and I just waited for Tim to speak. What the fuck, man, I just needed a quick lick. This nigga was acting like I was asking him for his ass to pimp out. "You know I'm fuckin' wit' weight now. Is that what you want to touch right now?" "Listen to me. I need bread desperately!" I said into the phone. This nigga needed to get the picture and get it quick. I didn't have time to spell all this shit out to him. "Check this out," I said into the phone. "If you got it on deck, I need about four of them things." I wasn't really no dope dealer. But I did know how to sell dope. I just needed the birds to flip a couple of times so I could get out of the red. "Damn, Infamous, that's a lot of weight for a nigga that's broke," Tim said. I don't know what I heard exactly in his voice. But he sounded skeptical. "I need a front until I can flip that shit." I was shooting hard for that dust. I needed a boost. I knew I had to put something together. That or watch me, Diva and the baby become homeless. But wasn't none of that happening! "Do you even have a buyer for four?" he asked. This nigga was asking too many questions. Either he was gonna front the chickens to me, or I was gonna move on. "All that don't even matter. You know I'm a 'get it boy.' So anything you put in my hand is gonna come back to you." I heard him sigh on the other end of the phone. This nigga was trippin.' He was about to make me come take what I wanted. "All right, Infamous. Meet me at the Magic Johnson theater in a couple of hours." "Thank you, bro. I swear it'll come back to you." I hung up the phone and leaned back in my seat. I had to contemplate my next move. I had to make this next move my best move. Situation was crucial. Now I had to go tell Diva that I was about to come out of retirement for a little while to get things right for us. I knew she would be against it. But what must be done must be done!!   .........   Diva laid awake in the dark. The baby was sleeping peacefully beside her. Her mind was on Infamous and the chances he was now taking. He was already out on bail on a murder case. Now he was back on the streets fucking with some dope. She thought he was through with the streets. They both had been away from the game and was really not trying to go back. The game was addictive. She knew, once he dipped a toe in, he was gonna be ready to throw his whole body in. Diva eased off the bed. She was naked like always. That's just the way she slept. Since nobody was around, she didn't feel the need to get dressed. She walked to the kitchen. While she was walking, she looked around her beautiful home that they had purchased together. The house was extra big. They really didn't need all this space. They chose this house because it had a basement. Infamous wanted to make himself a game room to relax in. All this, and it looked like they were gonna have to give it all up. That's if they didn't catch up on the payments of the mortgage. She wished that Infamous hadn't gone on that last lick. That's where it all had started from. That one poor choice was causing them so much heartache and hardships. Right now, she didn't know where Infamous was at. She was just hoping it was one spot that he wasn't at. And that was in jail again.   .........   I was riding down 6-10. I had the radio on up to the max. I was on my way to the North. I knew the way to flip a brick nicely was to bust that shit done to all rocks. I was on a get-money mission. It took 10 dimes to make a dollar, and I knew the only way to reach that dollar was to collect every damn dime. I wasn't about to let nothing make it. I passed by Northline Mall. I thought about how not long ago I was in there trying to tear down the insides. That seemed like yesterday. But now here I was with only a couple of stacks in my pocket, tryin' to make this shit flip like circus-born acrobats. All this because I got greedy. I had enough money for me and Diva to live comfortably. We was in the process of really taking this shit next level. Now here I was about to get back in the mud. I shook my head sadly. Really mad at myself. I couldn't really fault Pat for my downfall because this was all my fault. I chose to go try and hit another lick. Diva had been at home being the good wife. I shook my head, trying to clear my mind....
