William Irwin is professor of Philosophy and Director of theHonors Program at King's College in Pennsylvania. In additionto publishing in leading scholarly journals such as Philosophyand Literature and The Journal of Aesthetics and ArtCriticism, Irwin originated the philosophy and popular culturegenre of books with Seinfeld and Philosophy in 1999. Irwinhas also co-edited The Simpsons and Philosophy and editedThe Matrix and Philosophy and Metallica andPhilosophy. He is currently the General Editor of the BlackwellPhilosophy and Pop Culture series.
David Kyle Johnson is assistant professor of Philosophyat King's College in Pennsylvania. In addition to hisscholarly work on philosophy of religion, Johnson has editedHeroes and Philosophy and is also a contributor to theBlackwell Philosophy and Pop Culture series, having writtenchapters on South Park, Family Guy, The Office,Battlestar Galactica, and Batman.
