This book covers a course of mathematics designed primarily for physics and engineering students. It includes all the essential material on mathematical methods, presented in a form accessible to physics students, avoiding precise mathematical jargon and proofs which are comprehensible only to mathematicians. Über Autor(innen)

Lev Kantorovich is a member of the Physics faculty at King's College London. He has published two books and over 190 peer reviewed papers. Prof. Kantorovich has taught mathematical methods in physics at King's College for the past 12 years, receiving two Teaching Excellence Awards.
