Jeffrey S. Lantis is Professor of Political Science at TheCollege of Wooster, USA. He teaches courses on U.S. foreignpolicy, international security, comparative foreign policy, and warand peace on film. A former Fulbright Senior Scholar at theAustralian National University, Lantis is author of The Life andDeath of International Treaties (2009), and co-editor ofForeign Policy in Comparative Perspective: Domestic andInternational Influences on State Behavior (2012). He is pastpresident of the Active Learning in International Affairs Sectionof the International Studies Association (ISA), and has directednumerous workshops on active learning approaches. In 2010, hewas co-recipient of the Deborah J. Gerner Innovative Teaching Awardin International Studies, the highest teaching award bestowed bythe ISA.
