This atlas of commonly used cell lines provides a ready visual reference for all researchers performing cell culture. The title contains images for more than 230 lines depicting the cell line at different magnifications under optimal culture conditions. In addition, the text provides valuable tips and hints for cultivating and using these particular lines while keeping commonly available standard information about the culture conditions at a minimum. The information is rounded off by pictures of 26 primary human cells and an extensive list of suppliers of cell culture materials. The book is written in an easily accessible level and an invaluable resource for all researchers performing cell culture.
