Spencer Lucas is the Curator of Paleontology at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science and a recognized expert in the field. He has published numerous books on dinosaurs, the most recent of which is Dinosaurs: The Textbook (CUP forthcoming). He has 16 years of museum experience and 17 years of teaching experience at the university level.Spencer Lucas is curator of paleontology at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History.
