His research areas are structural composites, green composites, nanocomposites, biomechanical engineering of polymeric structures, thermo-mechanical characterization of polymeric materials, etc. He is a prolific author of journals articles and book chapters for Elsevier, Springer, and Wiley, and is also well-known in the conference circle for his topical presentations. He has edited several books, including Nanotechnology in Textiles for Elsevier.
