ASHIM K. MITRA, PhD, is Chairman of PharmaceuticalSciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Dr. Mitra isalso a University of Missouri Curators' Professor and has more thanthirty years of experience in the field of ocular drug delivery anddisposition. He has been the recipient of research awards from theNIH, AAPS, AACP, ARVO, and other pharmaceutical organizations.
CHI H. LEE, PhD, is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciencesat the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he teachesundergraduate and graduate pharmacy courses. His research focuseson elucidation of pathological mechanisms and formulationdevelopment of microbicidal and cardiovascular devices.
KUN CHENG, PhD, is Associate Professor of PharmaceuticalSciences at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. His researchseeks to develop novel drug delivery systems for siRNA and smallmolecule drugs. Dr. Cheng is the recipient of the 2011 AmericanAssociation of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) New InvestigatorGrant Award in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Technologies.
