Exercise problems were updated and the numerical analysis part refined.

Über Autor(innen)

Seiichi Nomura is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. He is the author of  (Wiley) and  (Springer) and coauthor of  (DESTech) with A. Haji-Sheikh. His research interests include micromechanics, the analysis of composite materials, and applications of computer algebra systems. He holds a Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Tokyo and a Ph.D. from the University of Delaware.
