Gary Norden has been trading for over 25 years. Hestarted his trading career at the age of just 18 trading equityderivatives and was the youngest ever trader in the firm'shistory. He went on to enjoy a successful career as a trader in theCity of London. At the age of 23 he became Head of LIFFE Optionsfor NatWest Markets and he later held senior trading positions atCredit Lyonnais Rouse and ING Financial Markets.
Gary has also spent many years trading futures and options withhis own capital both in the trading pits of LIFFE and oncomputerised markets.
Since moving to Australia in 2003 Gary has developed aninternational reputation as a financial markets consultant, tradingmentor and as an author.
Gary's first book, Technical Analysis and the ActiveTrader was published in 2005 and reveals the unreliability oftechnical analysis. Bedrock technical analysis assumptions wereexposed as little more than poorly performing rules of thumb. Thebook was also translated into Chinese and Korean. Gary has writtenfor publications and websites worldwide including Your TradingEdge, Stocks and Commodities, www.trade2win.com andwww.bullbearings.co.uk.
