Andre Baron Jaumotte has been a professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, as well as the head of the institute of applied mechanics, institute of aeronautics, vice-chancellor and Chairman of the board of that University. He also serves as the chairman of the board of the von Karman Institute of Fluid Dynamics, and a member of the board of directors in the Belgium society of mechanical and environmental engineering. Dr. Hirsch is the founder and president of NUMECA International, provider of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) software and consulting services in Belgium and worldwide.
