Über Autor(innen)

DR. NATALIA V. PLECHKOVA attained her BScand MSc in chemical engineering at the Russian Mendeleev Universityof Chemical Technology, Moscow, and her PhD in chemistry, under theguidance of Professor Seddon. Since then she has been a researchfellow and project manager in the QUILL (Queen's UniversityIonic Liquid Laboratories) Research Centre, focussing on variousaspects of ionic liquids, including their synthesis,characterisation, and applications.
PROF. KENNETH R. SEDDON is Chair ofInorganic Chemistry at the Queen's University of Belfast, anddirector of the QUILL Research Centre, a world-leadingindustrial-academic consortium that was awarded the 2006Queen's Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Educationand has just been involved with implementing a full-scale processfor removing mercury from natural gas streams with PetronasChemicals, for which an unprecedented three global IChemE awardswere presented in November 2013.
