K. R. RAO, PhD, is Professor of Electrical Engineering, TheUniversity of Texas at Arlington. Dr. Rao, along with twocolleagues, developed and introduced the Discrete Cosine Transform(DCT) in 1975, widely used in digital signal processing. He hasauthored and edited numerous books and published extensively inleading engineering journals.
ZORAN S. BOJKOVIC, PhD, is Professor of ElectricalEngineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia. He has coauthored twobooks with Dr. Rao.
DRAGORAD A. MILOVANOVIC, is a PhD candidate, Departmentof Electrical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia.
