Stephen Rose is an avid writer, who from an early age loved writing poetry, mostly on birthday cards for his wife and children. His love of science fiction started at about ten years old when he would stay up late on a Friday or Saturday night watching as many black and white sci-fi movies he could. After school he had Lost in Space, The Time Tunnel and Land of The Giants. After dinner if he was allowed, he would watch Star Trek or The Outer Limits. In High School he started reading science fiction books and has continued that love until now. He enjoys drawing, model making and until recently skateboarding.

Friday, three days before the end of the world.

And just like that we woke up. I was still inside my beautiful girl.

“Wow, these dreams are wild.” Betty said, I smiled at her and she squeezed me.

“Oh Bett, I don’t even know if that was a dream, we were asleep here but it felt as if we were conscious there in those versions of us. Shiny said it too, there were four of us.”

“Okay, but that could be part of the dream too.”

“Very true, we can ask Shiny if she remembers carrying four of us in two bodies thirteen thousand years ago...” We both laughed.

“Good luck! I can’t remember what happened yesterday, except the part where I fell asleep inside you, sorry.”

“Ha, sorry, as if. You are still loving me right now; I can feel you.”

“Betty please don’t move, just stay as we are, you feel amazing whenever you do this to me, that didn’t sound right, because you always feel amazing, but this, this is off this world level of greatness and comfort, and you are everything, you are my home. You will always be my home.” Betty suddenly started to shiver, shake and moan, uncontrollably, holding me tightly, clenching and releasing as wave after wave of orgasm ran through her gorgeous body.

“Danny, you told me not to move and then you said that I was home; what did you expect was going to happen? I lost my shit, uncontrolled multiple orgasms, utter eroticism and now I am near the stratosphere, I’m coming down now, calming myself, oh man!”

“Bett, I think Shiny, lost it too baby.”

“Shiny too, what?

“I think she is part of us now, baby, she feels everything we do.”

“Swim Danny?” Betty zipped past in a blur I heard the splash as she went in. I swooped down, Betty was swimming on her back watching my approach, so I slowed down and floated a few feet above her admiring her body, she smiled up at me, admiring my body.

I am both Danny, and more, a bio-engineered entity grown with multiple different DNA, including human. All Orbs share similar combined water molecules attached to our DNA similar to Taxi’s special water. We don’t age, but we can die through severe injury or trauma. The Octo gave us life, but I am slightly different to their Orbs as I share both of your DNA in my being, this is how I am so in tune with you, I am made of you two. This is the only way Octo could give me to you. I cannot carry others only you and your family, those who share our DNA.

Shiny, that makes you even more special to us as you are part of our family; this makes us proud and very happy to have you with us. When we are inside you, how do we go to the toilet in space?

When you are inside me, I absorb all your bodily fluids and waste before it leaves your bodies. I continually recycle everything and feed you all the nutrients you require, and I am perfectly hygienic. Unfortunately, I do have a side effect, the longer you ride in me the more golden your skin will swirl with my jelly. I am a part of you now as you are a part of me.

Wow, and what if we need to exit you in space or some hostile environment?

When I sense that, I can create a protective layer around you, my jelly stays in your lungs so you can still breathe, it is like a biological spacesuit, it will last for three hours.

That is amazing and good to know. Shiny we want you to meet Betty’s father, Conner, he needs to understand why we cannot enter his bunker immediately as you need to show us our planet as it gets destroyed. Can you take us all into space just to show him the beauty of this planet?

I am honored, it will be my pleasure, he is my family. Bring him to me I will welcome him with love.

Danny, you want to fly naked in space with my naked dad holding my hand? Are you serious or just crazy? He is my dad. That is so awkward. I can’t do this.

Betty, I can blur all your bits and you too Danny, he will see you are naked but not see everything I can blur him from you too, Bett even with you outside of me, I understand your feelings, I’ve got you.

Shiny you are even taking on our speech mannerisms, but that will be awesome thank you. I have one more question Shiny, do you remember future Old Ones in present Old Ones in your past, travelling to look at the moon before it became hidden? Shiny shivered.

You called to me, I came, you entered me, but I felt a difference, yes, future you, was that you? This is unreal, I have waited so long, it was you, thank you my beautiful friends, you are my friends for eternity. Shiny had repeated my exact words after thirteen thousand years, we looked at each other as we floated in the lake.

Our consciences had travelled back in time thirteen thousand years, this was incredible, how could we use this against The Hathors?

Okay, thank you Shiny that was us, rest now, sleep. Shiny happily fell asleep. We finished washing ourselves and left the lake.

Bett, please contact Conner, get him out here as soon as possible, tell him we have something fantastic and something terrifying to tell him, but it must be in person today and as soon as possible, we need to see him for a couple of hours and come alone.

That will draw him in. Let’s get dressed, have a bite to eat and wait for his reply. Betty sent her text. He replied in a few seconds.

‘I will be there in fifteen minutes.’

“Excellent Bett, we need to move.”

“Danny?”

“I got this Bett, trust me, okay?”

I so trust you, just come here quickly and give me a freaking kiss, please.’ I obliged willingly.

I love you Baby.’

I know Danny, it is legend, past and present. I looked at her, she nodded.

True Danny, check the history books. We are there. She winked at me.

We were dressed casually sitting on our couch by the lake, the fire raging, sipping bourbon. The 65 Lincoln soon roared in, surrounded in dust, he pulled up nearby. We had a Jack Daniels floating in front of him as he jumped out. He grabbed it.

“You have my attention guys, what is going on?”

“Conner, sit first please, have a big drink, the time is near, the rock will be here on Monday, this Monday, we have seen it up close, it is terrifying and followed by hundreds of smaller rocks that are all massive. This is the end of life as we currently know it. We know you and Taxi are all safe in The House of Ra, but we cannot join you, not initially. We need to be off world.” Conner skolled his drink, the bottle of Sinatra sailed over and immediately refilled his glass.

“What do you mean, off world? The news has reports of a meteor, but it will miss us completely.”

“Okay, yeah no, it will hit. Conner you are aware of our abilities, you have seen our tricks, but there is a lot more to us than you realise, and it is fantastic.” He looked at Betty in bewilderment.

“Daddy, listen, Danny is right, this is fantastic. We have something to show you.”

“Conner, we have some new friends, and they don’t live on this planet, they have been trying to aid us, to stop this from happening. Together we have done our best but still it comes, so our only option is for us to aid the Earth in space while you and Taxi lock up below ground in The House of Ra but we need to be up there for a short while.” I pointed straight up.

“What do you mean Daniel? Up there, how? You don’t have a rocket, do you?”

“We would like you to meet an old friend her name is Shiny. Do not be afraid. We will help your mind so you can hear her. She is telepathic like us, are you ready for one of the wildest hot-rod rides in your life, drink up, we are heading into space. I will call her when you are ready.” Betty patted Conner on his...
