This book bridges the gap between advanced technology and the core human values of fairness, equity, and justice. It delves deeply into the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and urban governance, presenting AI as a transformative tool for addressing some of the most pressing social challenges of our time. This work provides a comprehensive exploration of how AI can be leveraged to create more inclusive, equitable, and transparent urban systems while critically examining its potential risks. It seeks to redefine how AI is integrated into public policy, emphasizing ethical considerations, algorithmic transparency, and the minimization of bias. The author covers key subspecialties such as AI ethics, public policy integration, human-centric design, algorithmic fairness, and the role of AI in urban planning and public service optimization. With a focus on practical application, it provides mathematical models, frameworks, and case studies to guide policymakers, urban planners, and technologists in shaping an AI-driven future that is rooted in empathy and social responsibility.
