C. M. Metts was raised in Washington, D.C. and now resides in Maryland. A Cancer survivor of five years. She is the mother of two, the proud grandmother of six and enjoys being the oldest of a blended family. Raised in the church as a child, she learned that love of God is the key to life and it is reflected in her works. 'Everything will not always be as you want it to be, but through faith and belief anything is possible.' Ms. Metts' passion for poetry evolves around everyday life and situations.
