Über Autor(innen)

Dr. Natalia V. Plechkova attained her BSc and MSc inchemical engineering at the Russian Mendeleev University ofChemical Technology, Moscow, and her PhD in chemistry, under theguidance of Professor Seddon. Since then she has been a researchfellow and project manager in the QUILL (Queens University IonicLiquid Laboratories) Research Centre, focusing on various aspectsof ionic liquids, including their synthesis, characterization andapplications.
Prof. Kenneth R. Seddon is Chair of Inorganic Chemistryat the Queens University of Belfast, and director of the QUILLResearch Centre, a world-leading industrial-academic consortiumwhich was awarded the 2006 Queens's Anniversary Prize forHigher and Further Education and has just been involved withimplementing a full-scale process for removing mercury from naturalgas streams with Petronas Chemicals.
