Lena is a beautiful young photon on the run during a long night in the quantum world. There is an electron trying to annihilate her, a neutron trying to imprison her in a black body, and a con artist who is after her dress. She struggles with the patrons of the Eye In Stein ice bar, who want to freeze her, and the Little Mermaid from Copenhagen harbor, who wants to seduce her. She is befriended by an alpha , who teaches her about tunneling, and a tachyon with a time traveling cell phone, with whom she becomes entangled. She encounters Werner Heisenberg, Prince deBroglie, Schrodinger's Cat, Mu, Gillette's(?) razor, and Higgs Boson, who is hiding out in a church singing Bob Dylan songs. She goes to a world where God doesn't play dice, then to a world where God loses at dice. She is rescued by Aunt Em (of M-Theory fame, who hails from Kansas) who introduces her to the vibrating strings of Planck World, then sends geons to the Ant Tropic gym and tanning salon to rescue her. Finally, she travels by gravitons to another brane, the Land of Oz, where she encounters an odd-ball version of Marvel's Avengers. Then it's off to see the Wizard, and other multiverses, including the Holographic Multiverse and the Simulated Multiverse. What a long strange trip it is.
