Kamden Strunk is an Assistant Professor at Auburn University, where he teaches quantitative research methods. He is a scholar-activist focused on issues of social justice in education, LGBTQ issues and queer studies, and race in the education. Much of his research and writing focus on issues in the 'Deep South' region of the U.S. He is also a director of the Research Initiative on Social Justice and Equity (RISE).
