Paul S. Davies is Professor of Commercial Law at UCL and a Barrister at Essex Court Chambers. He has written widely in private law, and is also the author of Accessory Liability (Hart Publishing, 2015; revised paperback edition, 2017), which won the main Inner Temple Book Prize in 2018 and a Peter Birks Prize for Outstanding Legal Scholarship awarded by the Society of Legal Scholars in 2015. In 2020 Paul was awarded a Philip Leverhulme Prize in Law.

Graham Virgo (KC (Hon)) is Professor of English Private Law at the University of Cambridge; Master of Downing College, Cambridge; member of XXIV Old Buildings and a Bencher of Lincoln's Inn. He is the author of several books on private law, including The Principles of Equity and Trusts (5th ed, 2023, Oxford University Press) and The Principles of the Law of Restitution (4th ed, 2024, Oxford University Press).”
