Paul Wang
Dr Paul J Wang is the Director of the Stanford CardiacArrhythmia Service and Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory. Hereceived his undergraduate degree at Harvard University and hismedical degree at Columbia University in New York City. He receivedhis medical residency at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center inNew York City and completed his cardiovascular training at Brighamand Women's Hospital.
Dr Wang has co-authored textbooks on implantable defibrillators,sudden cardiac death, and cardiac resynchronization/biventricularpacing therapy and has invented a number of new arrhythmiatechnologies.
He articipates on numerous national boards and panels in cardiacelectrophysiology. He is currently Vice-Chair of the EducationCommittee of the Heart Rhythm Society. He is co-director of anAdvanced Course in Pacemakers, Implantable Defibrillators, andResynchronization Therapy sponsored by the Heart Rhythm Society. Healso serves as a member of the Cardiac Electrophysiology BoardCertification Exam Writing Committee of the American Board ofInternal Medicine.
