This open access book explores the ecosystem design, competition mechanism, and coordination mechanism of platform supply chain in eleven chapters based on theoretical modeling and numerical experiments. The main research methodologies in this book include game theory, data-driven optimization, mathematical programming and machine learning. In Chapter 1, this book introduces the background and characteristics of the platform supply chain and discusses the research frontiers on platform supply chain management. It presents the organization of the book and outlines the content and focus of this monograph. Next, this book explores the ecosystem design, competition mechanism, and coordination mechanism of platform supply chain from Chapter 2 to Chapter 12 based on theoretical modeling and numerical experiments. At last, this book summarizes the main research findings and contributions in Chapter 13. The intended readership of this book includes researchers, educators, graduates, and industry practitioners interested in platform supply chains. This book is suitable for those with a master's degree or above in operations management or management science.
