Rebecca Fakoussa is a versatile international business expert and Assistant Professor at the University of Northampton, UK, and is also Visiting Professor at Bergamo University, Italy, OBS Business School, Spain and EMNormandie Grande Ecole, France. Teaching in various disciplines, she has taught entrepreneurship (digital and international) and marketing across the globe, including Vietnam, Dubai, India and China adapting to different systems and cultures.

Rebecca Fakoussa also is a practitioner with diverse, international industry experience, having worked and consulted for start-ups, SMEs and large corporations including Coutts (Banking) demonstrating her versatility and wide range of interests, and using her knowledge and experience to bring classrooms alive, practicing evidence-based management. With particular expertise in start-up, nextGen, marketing, international business, cross-cultural management, decision making and women on boards (governance), she has founded, grown, and developed several of her own start-ups ranging from education (in Germany, Spain and Egypt) to technology (in UAE and Nigeria); speaks three European languages, and is a trained mediator and Prince 2© certified.

As an international advisor, she has worked on issues ranging from business development, internationalisation as well as succession to strategy, and has completed a versatile number of projects in various territories including: the UK (Coworking Spaces, FMCG and Blockchain), Germany (Watch sector), Vietnam (various business plans and start ups), Kazakhstan (social enterprise development) and Italy (water industry and luxury glasses).
