Kalpana Sengar, PhD, is the youngest recipient of women scientist fellowship award given by Department of Science and Technology, Govt of India. She has 10 years research experience in biotechnology. She has completed her MSc in Biotechnology from CCS University and PhD from MJP Roheilkhand University and working as Young Scientist at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and technology. She has published more than 20 papers in reputed national and international journals and presented papers in several national and international conferences. She has received best report diploma award by bioinfobank library Poland in 2009, VIB PhD scholarship for attending international symposium in Belgium 2010 and Scholarship to attend The 17th annual conference of the International Sustainable Development Research Society (ISDRS) hosted by the Earth Institute, Columbia University. She has research interest in agriculture, human nutrion, biotechnology and plant tissue culture.
