Kaltmeier, Olaf
Olaf Kaltmeier, geb. 1970, ist Professor für Iberoamerikanische Geschichte an der Universität Bielefeld und Direktor des Maria Sibylla Merian Center for Advanced Latin American Studies (CALAS) in Guadalajara mit Regionalstandorten in Buenos Aires, Quito und San Jos de Costa Rica. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Latein- und inter-amerikanische Geschichte, Soziale Bewegungen, Ethnizität im historischen Wandel, Umweltgeschichte sowie Macht- und Herrschaftskonstellationen im Kontext der Globalisierung.

Horta Duarte, Regina
Regina Horta Duarte has been a full professor at Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais in Brazil since 1988, and is currently a permanent professor of its Graduate Program in History. Her research focuses on the Brazilian Republic, history and nature, the history of biology, and animal history. She coordinates the Center of Animal History (CEA-UFMG).

Ávila Romero, León Enrique
León Enrique Ávila Romero trabaja en la Universidad Intercultural de Chiapas, México desde el 2005 en el área de Desarrollo Sustentable. Es líder del cuerpo académico consolidado Patrimonio, territorio y desarrollo en la frontera sur de México, miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores, y trabaja con comunidades indígenas y colonias en la defensa de la naturaleza, bosques y humedales. Fue investigador invitado del CALAS en 2018/2019.

Acker, Antoine
Antoine Acker is an environmental historian and professor at Université de Genève, with a particular interest in international connections and the place of Latin America in the history of the Anthropocene. He directs the AnthropoSouth: Latin American Oil Revolutions in the Development Century project, and co-directs Lost Cities, a collaborative project funded by the Gerda Henkel Foundation.
