Kenneth E. Leonard, PhD, is a Senior Research Scientist at the Research Institute on Addictions and the Director of the Division of Psychology in Psychiatry, School of Medicine, State University of New York at Buffalo.

Howard Thomas Blane, PhD, until his death in 2019, was Director Emeritus of the Clinical and Research Institute on Addictions and Research Professor Emeritus of Psychology, Psychiatry, and Preventive Medicine at the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. Dr. Blane was renowned for his research on the prevention and treatment of alcohol use disorders and on alcohol use among young adults.
