Dear friends,
again a booklet! This time, it’s number 04. Even though we’re more into odd numbers like three or five. After all, we were five when we first started out – five then became four, and four became many.
When we, as students, casually came up with that cool idea of “working together some day,” each of us probably had his own ideas about the how and what. As so often, many things
turned out differently.
“Some day? very quickly turned into “right away,” and “we together” grew into an international eighty-people team.
Some decisions made between then and now were conscious, others were made from the gut. Of course, we sometimes ask ourselves what if …
… we had actually named ourselves DIN-A3-filterless and not AllesWirdGut, or if we had chosen Rio de Janeiro for our second office, instead of Munich?
Whatever.
Looking back today, we can say in any case that “all turned out fine.” It is not without a reason that our cafeteria’s name, in a spelling pun, translates as “all is/eat well.” If we were still listening to Oscar Wilde (or the others), we’d probably have got to that end by now. But the truth is that we don’t feel like getting to an end anytime soon!
So, on that note: after the booklet is before the booklet – there’s more to come – all will be even better!

Liebe Freundinnen, liebe Freunde,
schon wieder ein booklet! Diesmal Nummer 04. Dabei stehen wir doch viel mehr auf ungerade Zahlen wie drei oder fünf. Zu fünft hatten wir ja ursprünglich auch begonnen – aus fünf wurden vier und aus vier wurden viele.
Als wir während unseres Studiums locker lässig die Idee hatten, „irgendwann einmal gemeinsam zu arbeiten“, hatte wohl jeder seine eigene Vorstellung über das Wie und Was. Wie so oft kam vieles anders. Aus „irgendwann“ wurde sehr schnell „jetzt sofort“ und aus „gemeinsam“ ein internationales, achtzigköpfiges Team.
Manche Entscheidungen zwischen damals und heute waren bewusst, andere kamen einfach aus dem Bauch heraus. Klar fragen wir uns manchmal: Was wäre wenn …?
… wir uns beispielsweise tatsächlich DIN-A3-filterlos und nicht AllesWirdGut genannt oder Rio de Janeiro anstelle von München als zweiten Standort gewählt hätten?
Wie auch immer.
Müssten wir heute zurückblicken, so könnten wir jedenfalls behaupten, „alles ist gut geworden“. Nicht umsonst trägt unsere Kantine den Namen „alles isst gut“. Müssten wir weiters noch auf Oscar Wilde (oder die anderen) hören, wären wir damit heute wohl auch schon am Ende. Auf ein Ende haben wir aber alle noch lange keine Lust!
In diesem Sinne: Nach dem booklet ist vor dem booklet – mehr geht immer – alles wird (noch) besser!
