Computer science has undergone evolutionary advancements, primarily driven by accelerated computing and advanced algorithms, resulting in the rapid development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology. In nearly all research fields, AI models are expected to be game changers, impacting every level of science, society, and human life., The integration of AI technology with nanotechnology, is known as “intelligent nanotechnology,” and is becoming increasingly mainstream in various aspects of biology, including a wide range of plant biological and agricultural applications.

Intelligent Nanotechnology in Plant Science and Agriculture features information on intelligent strategies for nanocarriers, nanosensors, nanorobotics, biogenic nanoparticles, and nano-fertilizers. It proposes literature on AI-nano systems highlighting their applications in stress management, plant protection, crop improvement, and water/soil management. The book discusses ethical and regulatory considerations for combinatorial AI-nanotechnology in agriculture and agrifood systems.

This book is an ideal reference for readers in multiple fields across materials science, plant biology, plant stress physiology, systems biology, AI technology, computational biology, plant disease management, agricultural nanotechnology, and agricultural practice.
